The 2024 football schedule for Toombs County High looks a bit different from previous years, featuring four Region 3-A D1 games. We are set to host Swainsboro and Vidalia at home, while we’ll hit the road to face Savannah Country Day and Savannah Christian in Savannah. Notably, Swainsboro was the State Runner-Up in Class A D1 last season, and Savannah Christian achieved the same feat in Class AAA. This season promises another competitive lineup in a region brimming with talent.
Our non-region games include three challenging early-season matchups against larger classification schools: Dougherty (AAA), South Effingham (AAAAA), and Rome (AAAAA). Additionally, we will travel to play at tradition-rich Charlton County, host Hamilton County High from Jasper, FL for our homecoming game, and conclude our non-region schedule against our neighboring county rival, Tattnall County.
We are excited for the upcoming football season and believe we have assembled a schedule that will challenge us weekly to perform at our very best. This lineup will undoubtedly prepare us for the playoffs. We can’t wait to be back in the Pit with our incredible Toombs County family! BE A DOG!
