Mr. Alan Eugene Hall, age 82, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away November 23, 2023, at his home under hospice care, with his wife and daughter by his side, after a lengthy battle with Lewy body dementia.  Alan was a native of Vidalia, Georgia, but had lived most of his life in Milledgeville, Georgia.  He was a 1959 graduate of Montgomery County High School.  He started out in Milledgeville as owner of several Bonanza Mobile Homes locations throughout the state, but he sold those to concentrate on building homes and developing real estate.  His passions included classic cars, animals, collecting antique firearms, and his family and friends.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He and his wife of forty years, Toni, had a farm in Putman County, Georgia and raised commercial Brangus cattle, followed by goats.  They retired to Unicoi, Tennessee in 2013 and lived in the mountains for six years until his diagnosis of Lewy body dementia.  They then moved to Clarksville, Tennessee to be close to daughter, Kristi, and her family.  He battled fiercely against the effects of the dementia and lived life on his terms to the very end.  Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Editha Hamilton Hall of Kibbee.

His family includes his wife, Dr. Sara (Toni) Hall; daughter, Kristi H. Lane and husband John; granddaughter, Claire Lane; and first wife, Carol Gene Hall, all of Clarksville, Tennessee; sister, Renee Harp of Savannah; and first cousins, Emily Farmer and Keith Hamilton of Vidalia.

The family will receive friends at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home on Friday evening, December 1st from 5:00 until 7:00.

The graveside service will be Saturday morning, December 2nd at 11:00 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
