Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Darlene Johnson age 62 of Lyon, GA.  Darlene was born in Lyons, Georgia on December 25, 1960 to the parentage of Martha Precious Johnson and Artesian Dukes Sr. She split time between Lyons, GA and Rochester, New York, where her father lived. She attended the Toombs County School System. She furthered her education at Southeastern Technical College.

She lovingly and faithfully served the families of Toombs County while working at the Toombs Department of Family and Children Services.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Stephanie (Tywan) Ealey and a son, Cornelius (Jessica) Bullard both of Lyons, GA.; her mother, Martha Precious Johnson of Lyons GA.; fiancé, Darrick Mann Sr.; stepchildren, Derrick Mann Jr. of Lyons, GA, Lashawna, Lawanda and Tavares Mann of Gainesville, FL.; four sisters, Mary Helen Robinson of Homerville, GA, Debra, Linda, and Katrina Dukes of Rochester, NY.; three brothers, Alphonza Johnson of Glen Burnie, MD, Gary Robinson of Lyons, GA, and Artesian Dukes, Atlanta, GA.; grandchildren, Yasmin, Aaliyah, Amiya, Corneisha, Cornelius, Haydn, Hayze, and Haven; two great grandchildren; a great aunt, Mrs. Carolyn Brown and a great uncle, Mr. Cecil Dukes of Rochester, New York; a godson, Michael Mobley, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 2 PM until 6 PM at Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home in Lyons, GA.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 3:00 PM from the Sanctuary of Holy Ghost Assembly Church of God in Lyon, GA.  Elder Julian Vincent Holland is the Pastor.  Rev. Carl Wardlaw, Jr. will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in Macon Cemetery in Lyons, GA.
