Mrs. Linda Lariscey Morris, age 73, of Juliette, died Monday, February 6, 2023, after a brief illness.  She was a native of southern Emanuel County, living in Vidalia for several years before moving to Juliette in 1983.  She worked as a telephone operator with Southern Bell/AT&T and retired after forty-three years.  She was Baptist by faith, and she enjoyed time with family and her grandchildren, gardening, yard work, and reading.  Her parents, Jay Lariscey and Nanearl Brinson Lariscey preceded her in death.

Her family includes her husband of fifty-three years, Dennis Morris of Juliette; two children, Mary Elizabeth Martin and husband Keith of Sparta, and Michael Morris of Juliette; four brothers, Jason Lariscey of Dublin, Paul Lariscey of the Ohoopee Community, Pat Lariscey, and Eric Lariscey and wife Delilah, all of the Five Points Community; three sisters, Joyce Richards and husband Ed of Brooklet, Anita Cook and John Shaff of Reidsville, and Susan Williams and husband Tommy of Collins; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Dale Morris Johnson and husband James of the Johnson Corner Community, and Deane Morris Joyner of Lyons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 8th, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Cheryl Hill and Mr. Keith Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:30 until just prior to the service.
