Mr. Eugene “Gene” C. Stewart, age 84 of Ailey passed away on Tuesday morning, September 1, 2020 at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Georgia due to complications related to the invasion of COVID into his life.

A service of remembrance and tribute will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at, his church, the Zaidee Advent Christian Church.  Gene's church home is located in the Zaidee Community, five miles east of Soperton off GA Hwy. 46 on Old Louisville Road, at 5327 Old Louisville Road, Soperton, GA  30457.  All are invited and welcomed to attend his service and share a meal that will be provided in the church fellowship hall, following the service.
