Delvis Dutton

A former member of the Georgia House of Representatives and candidate for the Georgia Senate was in a Bulloch County courtroom last week facing charges of stalking, criminal trespassing, and harassing communication.

Documents obtained by these radio stations show that in August of 2020, Bulloch County Deputies responded to a call where they found Delvis William Dutton of Glennville lurking on the backside of a woman’s property. The woman admitted to law enforcement that she and Dutton had shared a brief romantic interest and she was a former employee of Dutton’s online media source called AllOnGeorgia, LLC., but added she did not want to have anything further to do with him. She also stated to deputies that Dutton had made numerous unsuccessful attempts in the previous weeks to various means to have contact with her including knocking relentlessly on her front door and leaving notes and messages.

About a month after the report was filed with the sheriff’s office, the female found a trail camera on her property. She removed the camera and uploaded the SD card which showed 3200 photos, some with Dutton in the images; others with photos of her without her knowledge. She substantiated her claim by providing a thumb drive to law enforcement containing all of the photos.

Dutton was arrested on a warrant on April 12, 2021 and released on a $6000 property bond the same day.

In court last week, Dutton was found guilty on all charges and ordered to serve probation, perform community service, pay a fine, and ordered not to attempt to have any further contact with the female or family, and was banished from her property.

Dutton was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives from 2011 – 2015. He also ran for other political offices unsuccessfully including the United States House of Representatives. In 2016, he ran against Blake Tillery in the Georgia Senate race after Tommie Williams announced his retirement and where Dutton was again defeated for political office.
