2022 Miss Vidalia Onion Queens

Saturday was  a day of glitz and pageantry as the American Business Women’s Association sponsored the 2022 and 45gh Annual Miss Vidalia Onion Pageants.

Kalli Anderson will wear the crown this year over the Vidalia Onion Festival and promote the Vidalia Onion throughout the year, and Kalli has a message for anyone who’s never been to a festival.

“People should definitely come to the festival; it’s a lot of fun,” she said. “It’s also important that people come to know the economic impact the Vidalia onion has on our region and why we celebrate it each year.”

Melea Pittman is the 2022 Teen Miss Vidalia Onion and says what the honor means to her.

“I’m so excited!” she exclaimed. “It’s like I’m dreaming and just waiting to wake up. Wearing the crown of Miss Teen Vidalia Onion really means a lot to me.”

Other 2022 Queen include  CindyKate Anderson; Teeny Miss Juliette Gates; Tin Miss Adalynn Plante; Little Miss Reagan Harvill; Young Miss Kinsley Touchton; and Jr. Miss Aubree Harmon.
