Mrs. Kathy Fahey, age 60, beloved wife of David Fahey of Wrightsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022
Born in Straughn, Indiana, she was the eldest and last living of three children born to the late Charles Franklin “Frank” Miller and Sylvia Loretta Barlow Miller. As a teenager, the family moved to Florida where she attended Dunedin High School and was a member of the 1979 graduating class. While in high school, she met David Fahey that would become her husband on January 5th of 1980. She and her husband made their home in Holiday, Florida area for many years before moving to Georgia in 2000. Kathy had worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk and a Master Cosmetologist for many years in Florida before moving to Georgia. From 2009 until 2016 she and her husband owned and operated The Kings Cleft Thrift and Share Thrift Store in East Dublin.
Kathy enjoyed time with her family, gardening, raising livestock, baking, all types of music and playing the piano and guitar.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Sean David Fahey, who passed away on December 6, 1984, an infant sister, Lisa Ann Miller and her brother, Jeffrey Bryan Miller.
Kathy leaves behind, her husband of forty-two years, David E. Fahey, Wrightsville, GA, two daughters, Shannon Fahey Ebersole, Tuscaloosa, AL, Kristin Fahey Williams (Rod), Senoia, GA. A son, Logan Fahey (Kari), Wrightsville, GA, fourteen grandchildren, Jason, Andrew, Titus, Kathleen, Malon Isabella and Nathaniel Ebersole, Kristilea, Terrence, Kieralynn, Kassandra and Katrina Williams, Aurora and Ariel Fahey, many additional children added to the family through their work with the Kings Cleft Children’s Home and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from the graveside in the Fahey Family Cemetery, Wrightsville, GA with Pastor Tom Akins officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Jason Ebersole, Andrew Ebersole, Terrence Williams, Titus Ebersole, Malon Ebersole and Nate Ebersole.
Kathy’s family will receive friends on Sunday at the graveside or friends may call at the family home.
