Mr. Bryson Frost, age 86, beloved husband of Alma Myrtle Collins Frost of Glenwood passed away on Friday evening, November 26, 2021 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.
Born in Laurens County, he was the fourth of ten children born to the late John Clinton Frost and Maudie Lee Etheridge Frost. Mr. Frost grew up in Laurens County where he attended Lowery High School. After high school he lived in Jacksonville, Florida for a short time before returning to Wheeler County. In 1957 he married Alma Myrtle Collins. Mr. Frost was a lifelong Carpenter and Cabinet maker. He worked for many years with Dudley Cabinet before retiring in 2012.
Mr. Frost enjoyed the out of doors and even after retiring continued to enjoy woodworking; building birdhouses, toy boxes and animal caskets.
He had attended Faith Tabernacle in Treutlen County and most recently worshipped at the Alamo Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, David B. Frost and three brothers, Howard, Johnnie and Wilmer Frost.
Mr. Frost leaves behind his wife of sixty-four years, Alma Frost, Glenwood, GA, a son, Ronnie A. Frost, Glenwood, GA, Siblings, Eugene Frost (Rosa), Dublin, GA, Franklin Frost (Joyce), Dublin, GA, William Frost (Nancy), Eastman, GA, Jimmy Frost (Ann), Jacksonville, FL, Doris Frost, Perry, GA, Frances Purser, Loganville, GA, a granddaughter, Jennifer Smith, two great grandchildren, Calla Lee and Evie Lee as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from the graveside in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends at the graveside.
