The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Varsity Competition Cheer team placed first at the Bring it to the Boro competition at Bulloch Academy on Saturday, October 2nd. Other teams that competed on Saturday were Trinity Christian, Brentwood, Bulloch Academy, Gatewood, and Pinewood. The Lady Crusaders have had a strong start to their season. The team opened their 2021 competition season at West Laurens High school on September 25 competing in the GISA category against 4 other teams. “After not performing their best at West Laurens, the girls worked hard at practice all week and it really showed on the mats at Bulloch. It’s hard to come back after a disappointing performance, but the girls made it look easy. They earned the highest overall score in the school’s history. They are an amazing group of talented athletes," statesCoach Allison Dismuke.
