July 7—The Toombs County Lady Bulldogs Softball team has been working hard this summer preparing for upcoming season.
Head Coach Hayne Brant, “We had a busy month of June practicing and hosting a lot of area teams coming in to play at the Toombs County Sports Complex. We also hosted a Youth Summer Softball Camp that our players participated in helping out the younger kids. After the GHSA “dead week” softball season is here and we will continue in the month of July working on fundamentals and team chemistry getting ready for our season opener in August."
"We have a good group of talented young ladies on the team including some younger players who helped win a GRPA State Championship for the Lyons 14U Girls All-Star team. I am excited to see what this team can accomplish this year.” Brant said.
