MOUNT VERNON — Brewton-Parker men’s soccer student-athlete Isaiah Lamont was recognized in the 2020-21 Southern States Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Season Recap, the SSAC released on Thursday.
The season recap looks back to highlights from the 2020-21 season which includes Lamont’s performance versus Toccoa Falls (Ga.) back on October 12.
Lamont’s performance during the 9-0 win over the Screaming Eagles tied the single-game mark for most assists in a single game by an SSAC player. He tallied four assists in the match while also recording three goals of his own.
During the season, Lamont tallied a total of five goals and assisted seven for a total of 17 points. His offensive efforts in the 12 matches played led the Barons’ squad. As a team, Brewton-Parker notched 32 goals and 19 assists across 14 matches played.
Last season, Brewton-Parker earned seven SSAC Barnes & Noble College All-Academic Team selections, four SSAC player of the week honors, one SSAC All-Freshman Team selection, and a Champions of Character Team selection. The Barons finished the season 5-9 and 1-5 in SSAC play.
