The Vidalia High School Football celebrated the 2023 season with their Awards Banquet on Sunday afternoon at the Vidalia High School Auditorium. Head Coach Rodney Garvin honored the Seniors with a Bible following a short message by team Chaplin Billy Shiver, which centered around being strong, acting like a man, and walking in obedience.

Nine Indians who had made the 3AA All-Region Team were recognized by Garvin, who then honored his Team Captains and talked about the leadership that they had provided during the season. He then challenged those returning players to keep working hard and improve every day in the weight room, the classroom, on the field, and in life.

Awards were then handed out by Garvin with assistance from his team of Indian Assistant Coaches, who gave out awards to deserving players and one community member, Kay Stafford, who was awarded the Jack Sasser Award.
