Mr. Paul Davis, age 61, of Uvalda, died Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, in Savannah, after a sudden illness. Paul was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and loved bird watching, his cat, and shooting pool. He retired from the armed services in the United States Army, where he was the recipient of numerous medals, ribbons, and badges. Afterwards, he retired after many years as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Shirley Davis; and Pam Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his three daughters, Heather Foskey and husband Stephen, Alisha Rogers and husband Zeb all of Uvalda, and Faith McCoy of Statesboro; two brothers, Glynn Davis and Randy Davis of Montgomery County; one sister, Sharon Hutcheson and husband Jay of Toombs County; and four grandchildren, Jaxson Foskey, John Foskey, Duke Foskey, and Ryan Galbreath.

The private service was held Friday, December 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery – Glennville with Military Honors.
