Vidalia police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of Kaysey Jordan that occurred last Saturday night.
On Monday, 20--year-old Jami Janae Davis or Midville was taken into custody by the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a knife or sharp object during the commission of a crime.
Saturday night officers responded to the 300 block of Eat Jenkins Street where they found Jordan suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to Memorial Health Meadows Hospital where she died from her injuries.
The case is still under investigation by the Vidalia Police Department ad the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Eastman Office.
