The Dublin Police Department is currently investigating two homicides in the city that occurred over the weekend.

Early Saturday morning, police were called to reports of gunshots at the Riverview Park Apartments, and when they arrived, they found Jaquan Marquis Coney, age 31, on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Although responding police officers rendered aid, Coney died from his injuries.

The GBI and the Dublin Police Department are continuing the investigation.

On Sunday morning, a 49-year-old woman was found dead at the Claxton Homes Apartment Complex. Police say Pam Rozier died in Apartment 26A.

Details are limited on Rozier’s death, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is also working with the Dublin Police Department to solve this homicide.
