obit Hall

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Hall, age 82, of Valdosta, died Monday, June 9, 2025, Pruitt Health – Crestview in Valdosta following an extended illness.  He was born and raised in the New Branch Community in Toombs County and was a 1960 graduate of Toombs Central School.  He later moved to Thomasville where he lived for ten years and has lived in Valdosta for the past twenty years.  He was a sales representative for Lady Renee Industries in Cedar Crossing for more than thirty years.  He attended the Church of God, and he enjoyed fishing, drag racing, and watching wrestling.  He is preceded in death by his former wife, Alexis Driggers Hall; son, Jeffery Hall; parents, Joe Hilton Hall and Pearl Cassie Edenfield Hall; one sister, Sidney Pearl Hall Sheppard; and two brothers, Joe Hall and Maxwell Hall.

His family includes one daughter, Karen Hall Cole and husband Brian of Canyon Lake, Texas; one sister, Martha Hall Pittman of McCaysville; three grandchildren, John McRae and wife Katherine of Kentucky, Tyler Cole of Pocatello, Idaho, and Cody Cole and wife Holly of Clarksville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, Lauren McRae, Archer McRae, and Hannah McRae; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Paul Anderson Youth Home, PO Box 525, Vidalia, GA 30475.
