Michael lane, Director of Communications for Montgomery County Schools, issued and advisory Thursday afternoon that all schools in the system would be canceled on Friday, May 10, due to power outages and dangerous road conditions.

In addition, Vidalia City Schools, Toombs County Schools, Robert Toombs Christian Academy, and Vidalia Heritage Academy will be closed on Friday.
