The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now involved in the case of a missing area mother and her daughter.

The Lyons Police Department is still the lead investigator, but the FBI released a Missing Person poster for seven-year-old Stella Brannen Salter who was last seen on March 29 in Metter. Law enforcement believes she may have been taken to Puerto Rico by her non-custodial mother, Wendy Salter.
