The GBI has arrested and charged the following people in connection to the double homicide that occurred in Dublin, GA on March 21, 2024:

Kyndall Xavier Ashante Brazeal, age 22, of Rentz, GA, was arrested and charged on Monday, April 1, 2024, with 2 counts of Party to a Crime of Felony Murder, 7 counts of Party to the Crime of Aggravated Assault, and Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention (a) and (b).

Jaswain Martwain Bell, age 23, of Dublin, GA, was arrested and charged on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, with 2 counts of Felony Murder, 7 counts of Aggravated Assault , 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention (a), (b) and (d).

Quintez Dewayne Mercer, age 27, of East Dublin, GA, was arrested and charged on Wednesday April 3, 2024, with 2 counts of Felony Murder, 7 counts of Aggravated Assault , 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, 7 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention (a), (b) and (d).
All have been booked into the Laurens County Detention Center.
Only one victim remains in the hospital and is in stable condition.

The GBI is investigating a double homicide that occurred in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia. On Sunday, March 31, 2024, at about 2:20 a.m., the Dublin Police Department requested the GBI to investigate.
The preliminary investigation indicates at about 2:05 a.m., the Dubin Police Department was dispatched to the 500 block of West Avenue, Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia in reference to a shooting. A vehicle stopped near the incident location and people in the vehicle fired multiple shots from the vehicle. Several people were shot, including Miyori Ellington, age 23, of Dublin and Sacred Brown, age 24, of Dublin who died at the scene. Five other victims were also shot and were treated at the hospital.
Currently, four people are still in the hospital. Police have made no arrests.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
