Memorial Health Meadows Hospital recently presented a check for $5,000 to the Vidalia-Toombs County Library. The hospital’s donation will be used to provide STEM education programs. (STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.)
“STEM education is so important to help students prepare for many types of careers. This is particularly true for healthcare careers,” said Matt Hasbrouck, Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. “We are excited to partner with the Vidalia-Toombs County Library to make STEM education programs available to local students.”
