Toombs County Superior Court Clerk Nancy Pittman, in conjunction with the Georgia Superior Court Clerk’s Cooperative Authority, announced that there’s a new system to help Georgia citizens to monitor activity regarding their property and records.

The Filing Activity Notification System, or FANS as it will be referred, is a free, voluntary, opt-in program that can be used to send electronic notifications of real estate filing activity to individuals who create notifications in the system.

While FANS relies on information provided by the subscriber, the notifications generated by this system are not guaranteed to be accurate or completed, and use of the system is subject to an acknowledgement of certain conditions.

Toombs County Clerk of Courts Pittman said of the new initiative, “We hope you find this service to be beneficial as Toombs County Superior Court Clerk’s Office continues to explore and implement new ways to improve services delivered to the citizens of Toombs County.”
