Mr. Mack Arthur Meeks, age 89, beloved husband of the late Junyth Hanson Meeks of Warner Robins passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, January 24, 2023 at The Canopy of Warner Robins, Georgia.

Born in Johnson County, Georgia, he was the last living of six children born to the late James Bell Meeks and Nora Belle Schwalls Meeks.  Mr. Meeks was a graduate of Adrian High School after which time he enlisted and served in the United States Army.  Upon being honorably discharged he accepted employment as a Civilian at Robins Air Force Base from where he retired after thirty years.

He and his wife were longtime, faithful members of the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins where they were active with the Winmore Sunday School Class.

In addition to his parents and wife of forty five years, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Sarah Bridges and her husband Paul, Charles Meeks and his wife June, Harold Meeks, Bill Meeks and Richard Meeks and his wife Jackie.

Mr. Meeks leaves behind his daughter, Regina Flanders (Herb), Fort Valley, GA, his son, Mickey Meeks (Vicky), Bonaire, GA, a sister in law, Doris Meeks (Bill,dec.), grandchildren, Miles Flanders, Griffin, GA, Cole Flanders (Alecia), Augusta, GA, April Meeks, Atlanta, GA, Michael Meeks (Emily), Augusta, GA, Matthew Meeks, Savannah, GA, great grandchildren, Hazel Flanders, Madison MacArthur Meeks and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2023 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with his son in law, Reverend Herb Flanders officiating.

Mr. Meeks will be laid to rest beside his wife in Westview Cemetery.

His family will receive friends on Saturday, from 1:00 pm until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
