Ms. Brenda Osborne, age 68, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, after a sudden illness. She was a native of Higgston and spent most of her life in Vidalia. She was Baptist by faith and was the store manager of Shoe Show, where she had been working for twenty-two years. Brenda loved reading, fishing, spending time with her son, and her beloved chihuahua, Coco. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Nell and Felton Osborne; and grandparents, Estelle and Felton Keene.
Ms. Osborne’s survivors include her son, David Herron of Vidalia with girlfriend, Melissa Smith of Rentz; one brother, Timothy Osborne and wife Michelle of Lynchburg, Virginia; one niece, Ashley Bridges and husband Ben of Colorado; and two grand dogs, Rusty and Lacie.
The graveside service will be held at Braddy Cemetery in the Kibbee Community on Sunday, November 27th at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend BL Horne officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
Guests will be received at David’s home at 500 West 3rd Street in Vidalia and memorial contributions can be made the Sweet Onion Animal Protection Society at P.O. Box 210 Vidalia, GA, 30475.
