The Georgia Supreme Court ruled Wednesday morning that Saturday voting in the runoff for the Georgia Senate would take place this Saturday; however, early voting is not mandatory and will only take place in 18 counties in the state and that does NOT include Toombs or the surrounding rural counties.
Early voting will be held in Toombs County beginning Monday, November 28 and concluding on Friday, December 2. Early in-person voting will be at the Elections Office at 125 W. Lincoln Street in Lyons from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
All polling places will be open on the designated runoff day, December 6, from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Election results will be posted on southeastgeorgiatoday.com after the polls close.
