Ms. LaVonda Landon, age 52 of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 following a sudden illness.
She was born on June 21, 1970 at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia to Charles Walker and Lawanna Driggers. She lived most of her life in Brunswick, Georgia before moving to Glenwood. She was very artsy and enjoyed painting and doing crafts in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Hazel Chancey; paternal grandmother, Annie Swilley; maternal great-grandmother, Pearl Rosser; step-father, Gordon Driggers; and a special friend, Glenda King.
Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, David Tucker; her parents, Charles Walker (Sandra) of Virginia, and Lawanna Driggers of Yulee, Florida; one son, Jonathan Landon (Breanna) of Brunswick; two daughters, Amber King (Matthew), and Allison Baker (James) of Brunswick; one brother, James Driggers (Heather) of Yulee, Florida; one sister, Sharon Loper (Greg) of Brunswick; one step-sister, Rhonda Purcell (David) of Illinois; three grandchildren, Kaleigh Landon, Abby Landon (and mother, Dessie Landon), and Natalee King; one great-granddaughter, NovaLeigh Fowler; and a special family friend, William Howard.
A private family service will be held in Brunswick at a later date.
