Frances Lucille Crabb Cauley, age 71 of Vidalia passed away on Thursday evening, August 4, 2022 at Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lyons, Georgia.
Born in Swainsboro she was the second of seven children born to the late James Dewey Crabb and Josie Lillian Screws Crabb. She grew up in Dublin and was a graduate of Central High School in Laurens County. Being the eldest surviving child in the family, she helped take care of her siblings as her mother worked.
She enjoyed taking care of others, cooking, her iced tea and watching wrestling.
Miss Frances was always a member of the Assembly of God Church and had attended Garden of Prayer in Adrian.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband, Robbie Cauley and three sisters, Susan Crabb, Patricia “Pat” Crabb and Linda “Carolyn” Butler.
She leaves behind, her children, Belinda Wilds, Soperton, GA, Susan Mosley (Anthony), Vidalia, GA, Daniel “Dan” Cauley, Soperton, GA, her siblings, Louie Crabb, Dublin, GA, Dale Crabb (Shirley), Wrightsville, GA, Barbara “Beetle” McCoy (Charles), Wrightsville, GA, grandchildren, Casey Kersey, Brooke Mosley (Jordan), Blake Mosley (Megan), Bree Mosley, Tyler Wilds, great grandchildren, Avery White, Alex Kersey, Briar White, Drew Kersey, Nyleah Phillips, J. J. Phillips, Hadley White and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, August 8, 2022 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with her brother, Reverend Louie Crabb officiating.
Miss Frances will be laid to rest in Red Bluff Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Casey Kersey, Blake Mosley, Tyler Wilds, Joe McCoy, Brian McCoy and Jordan Shurling.
