Chuck Creamer

Mr. Chuck Creamer, age 63, of Lyons, died Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Vidalia, living in Toombs County most of his life, and was a 1976 graduate of Vidalia High School.  While in high school, Chuck began a career in radio, going by radio names “John Savage” and later “Cole Younger”.  He worked at Vidalia Communications - WTCQ, WBBT in Lyons, WBYZ in Baxley, Y96 in Dublin and WOKA - The Buck in Douglas.  He was a member and deacon of Smith Street Baptist Church.  Preceding him in death was a daughter, Erica Grae Creamer; mother, Ann Hill Dudley; and father, Leon Creamer.

His family includes his wife, Davainelle Taylor Creamer of Lyons; three stepchildren, Timmy Barnes of Swainsboro, Thomas Barnes of Lyons, and B.J. Brant and husband Hayne of Vidalia; stepmother, Barbara Creamer of Vidalia; sister, Anna Lynn Creamer of Lyons; and one niece, Mollie Creamer of Douglas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be Thursday, May 5th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Carter Family Cemetery in Ware County.
