RTCA's Lower School Student of the Month for February is second grader Annie Thompson. Annie is the daughter of Rhett and Susan Thompson. She has two sisters, Addie and Caroline, who are currently a junior and sophomore at RTCA. Annie has a cat named Louie and two dogs named Trigger and Miller. Annie was selected by faculty because she has a love for learning. She is caring towards others and is always willing to help out in the classroom. Annie's favorite subject is Math and her favorite color is yellow. She loves playing basketball, participating in gymnastics, and art. When Annie grows up, she wants to be an artist.

RTCA’s Middle School Student of the Month for January is seventh grader Cody Smith. Cody is the son of Dennis and Tammy Smith. He as one brother, Dean who graduated from RTCA in 2020, and four sisters, Julie and Gale Smith who are in sixth grade at RTCA, Faith Smith who is in fourth grade at RTCA, and Tessa Smith who is in first grade at RTCA. Cody was selected by faculty because he stays focused in the classroom and it shows in his work and grades. He’s a very respectful young man who is always willing to help others. Cody’s favorite subject is Math and Life Skills.  He participates in football and archery at RTCA and is currently participating in Shotgun with the Toombs County 4H.  In his free time, Cody enjoys fishing, hunting, shooting shotgun, riding 4-wheelers, drawing, and playing his Xbox.  When Cody graduates, he intends on entering the workforce.

RTCA's High School Student of the Month for February is senior Mk McBride. Mk is the son of Key and Tyrone McBride. He has an older brother, Zackie, who graduated from RTCA in 2018. MK was selected by faculty as student of the month because he works hard on and off the court. He has been very involved in basketball and still throughout the season was able to maintain an A in his classes. MK is very responsible and dependable in the classroom and is a great leader on the court. MK has participated in basketball for five years and was named All Region as an eighth grader, freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior.  He was also named All State his freshman, sophomore, and junior years. MK was named Player of the Year his sophomore, junior, and senior years. He scored 1,000 points his sophomore year and surpassed the 2,000-point mark during his senior year. MK played in two Region Championships, four Final Fours, and was part of two State Runner-Up teams. He participated in track for two years and soccer for one year. MK has been named Best Athlete and the Quietest for Senior Superlatives. He has been named Player of the Week several times throughout high school. He received the highest average award in World History his sophomore year and has received Honor Roll. This is MK’s second time in four years receiving Student of the Month.
