The Vidalia Lady Indians ran their Region 2AA record to 6-1 with a 9-0 win over Bacon County on Tuesday in Vidalia. Harris, who had previously thrown no-hitters against Statesboro and Swainsboro, began the game striking out the first 9 batters she faced and cruised the rest of the way, getting help on offense from Bailey Holland (2 RBI), Jesslyn Collins (2 RBI), Tori Wright (1 RBI), and Alli Taufmann (1 RBI).

After the game Vidalia Head Coach Ben Beck said he was happy to get another big region win, “it was good to get another region win against a quality opponent. The hard work the girls are putting in is starting to pay off. They have been buying in to the process the coaching staff has created at practice and we are starting to see the results in the games.” Beck added, “Tymber was awesome in the circle once again. She has been working really hard and has shown just the tip of the iceberg as far as what she is capable of.”

On Wednesday, the Indians face Islands at home before hitting the road for two big 2AA games against Swainsboro on Thursday at 6:00 and then EastLaurens on Friday at 5:00.
