His hobbies were: working in the fields with his crops and maintaining his John Deere equipment.

He had attended Orianna Baptist Church and Bethsaida Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Rogers, who passed away in 1982 and a sister, Carol Rogers Hartley, who passed away in 2019.

Mr. Rogers leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Katherine Arrington Rogers, Soperton, GA, children, Ginger Rogers, Phoenix, AZ, Wendy Rogers (Johnny Beasley), Cedar Crossing, GA, Rodney Rogers (Carrie Long), Soperton, GA, his remaining sister, Janice Jones (Ron), Gulf Port, MS, two grandsons, Chase Strickland and Hunter Powell and several nieces and nephews.
