With 99.99 percent of the votes for State House District 156 reported, it appears that Republican candidates Leesa Hagan and Wally Sapp will be headed to a runoff.
Georgia Secretary of State's website shows District wide Hagan received 2,068 votes (43.07 percent) to Sapp's 2,031 (42.30 percent). Democrat Wright Gres garnered 702 votes (14.62 percent).
Sapp carried his home county of Appling with 79.60 percent; likewise, Hagan was the favored candidate in Toombs County with 69.41 percent.
The runoff election will be July 13.
