Wally Use

Next Tuesday, voters in the 156th  District will go to the polls to case their ballots for a candidate to fill the office vacated by State Representative Greg Morris. One of those who has entered the race is Wally Sapp of Appling County.

Sapp says he’s spent most of his life in Baxley, and at the age of 21, entered into a partnership to own the Sapp Ford Dealership where he worked until he sold it a few years ago. However, being a self-proclaimed “people person,” he now owns and operates a used car dealership so he can maintain his connection with the public.

The candidate says he decided to seek office because of his “concerns about things going on in the government,” and using his business background and “common sense,” he wants to make changes for the better.

Sapp admits he doesn’t have all the answers, but he will make every effort if elected to find someone who does have those answers so that he can best represent the people of the 156th District.

Sapp is running on the Republican ticket. He is challenged by fellow Republican Leesa Hagan and Democrat Wright Gres.
