Chris Wiggins

In the late hours of Sunday, June 8, or early morning hours of Monday, June 9, 2014, Chris Wiggins was working in his convenience store in Santa Claus when he was gunned down and left by what law enforcement believes to have been an armed robbery. Wiggins was shot three times and no money was located anywhere in the store the following morning.

Now, seven years later, Wiggins’ death is yet unsolved, and his family is still looking for answers.

Each year, Dale Wiggins, the mother of Chris Wiggins, reminds the media that there has been no justice for her son or his family, and she is as determined as she ever was to find the person or person responsible for taking her sons life.

The case does remain open by local and state law enforcement and anyone with any information to add to the investigation is asked to contact the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office at 912-526-6778, or the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Eastman Office at 478-374-6988.

A substantial reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Chris Wiggins’ death. If you’d like to remain anonymous in providing information, you can contact Toombs-Montgomery Crime Stoppers at 912-386-4480.
