Mr. Jose Arturo Nunez Arzola, age 58 of Vidalia, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Savannah Memorial Hospital.

He was born on May 5, 1962 in La Tinaja Allende Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Pablo Nunez Trejo and Natalia Arzola Mendoza. He was the owner of Nunez Pine Straw. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Jennifer Banks.

Jose is survived by four sons, Eric, Edgar, Pepe, and Emilio Nunez; three daughters, Jacqueline, Nellie, and Claudia Nunez; one brother; five sisters; and seven grandchildren, Viviana Rodriguez, Magdelena Rodriguez, Aiden Nunez, Natalia Nunez, Noelia Rodriguez, Elias Nunez, and Ella Nunez.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Toombs County Funeral Home of Lyons.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00am at Toombs County Funeral Home Chapel in Lyons. Graveside service and interment will follow at Lyons City Cemetery.
