L-R: Mikkelle Peters and Harley Rush

Two Vidalia High School students were recently honored for their work in the local VFW Art Contest. Harley Rush placed 2nd for her painting of her grandfather, who served our country. Mikkelle Peters placed 3rd for her painting commemorating her becoming a US citizen. The students who are in Elizabeth Wolfe's Art class at Vidalia High School each received a check and a certificate from Shirley Curl, the President of the J. Barry Jones Chapter of the VFW.
