Kaylee Batten

RTCA’s lower school Student of the Month for February is fifth grader Kaylee Batten. Kaylee is the daughter of Ronnie Batten and has for older siblings. She has two dogs named Paisley and Hayden. Kaylee was chosen by faculty because she has blossomed in many ways. She is more confident in herself and interacts much more with her peers during recess and break. In class, Kaylee actively participates in class discussions and partners well with the other students when they are assigned an activity to complete together. She is a good listener, follows directions well, is a hard worker and is a very good student because she tries hard and wants to do her best. Kaylee is always ready to lend a helping hand to those around her and has a positive attitude daily. Kaylee’s favorite subject is reading and her favorite color is blue. She enjoys participating in archer, playing with animals and riding her 4-wheeler. When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher.

Amelia Moore

RTCA’s Middle School Student of the Month for February is 6th grader Amelia Moore. Amelia is the daughter of Amy and Robert Moore. Amelia has two older siblings, Anna who graduated from RTCA in 2015 and Rob who is a senior this year. Amelia has attended RTCA since K3. She is part of the middle school soccer, basketball, and cheerleading teams. Amelia was chosen by faculty because she has a kind and uplifting spirit. Around campus she smiles, gives hugs, and asks how everyone is doing. She is a genuinely caring person. Amelia also carries this enthusiasm on to the soccer field. You can hear her cheering and encouraging her teammates.

Hayden Kight

Robert Toombs Christian Academy’s February Student of the Month is freshman Hayden Kight. Hayden is the son of Miranda and Buddy Kight and has a twin sister, Haylie Hayden was selected by faculty because he is a kind, polite, and courteous young man. He is a true team player and willing to do anything to benefit the group. It’s the little things that stand out about him, like saying hello when spoken to, holding the doors for everyone, or offering a lending hand. Hayden has attended RTCA since K4. He is part of the Varsity Boys Basketball, Baseball, and Football teams. He was a member of the 2020 Region Championship Basketball team, where they advanced to the Final Four. In 2021, Hayden was also a member of the GISA-AA State Runner-Up Basketball team. In addition to athletics, Hayden is also an active member of Beta Club.
