Crystal Morris, age 40, of Soperton, passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 18, 2021 under the care of Hospice of Savannah in Savannah, Georgia.

Born in Dublin, she was the eldest of four daughters born to Bruce and Teresa Brantley Morris.  Crystal grew up in Soperton and attended Treutlen County Schools, where she was a gifted and star student.  In the late 1990s the family moved to Savannah where she attended and graduated from Butler Christian Academy, Class of 1998.  She always excelled academically and oftentimes tutored other students experiencing difficulty with their studies.   After high school, she attended Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah.  Crystal worked as an Officer Manager and Administrator in an Optometrist Office in Savannah for several years.

She was a selfless person, a quiet fighter and never wanted anyone feeling sorry for the day that she might have been having or the challenge she might have been going through.  She was fluent in Spanish, excelled at playing the piano by ear, enjoyed the out of doors and sports.  She was a loving mother.  Dakota and Carleigh were her whole world and she was so proud to be their mother.

Crystal was attending Union Grove Calvary Holiness Church in Wrightsville.

She leaves behind her parents, Bruce and Teresa Morris, Soperton, GA, her son, Dakota Shane Pierce, her daughter, Carleigh ReAnna Pierce, all of Soperton, her sisters, Monica East (Garry), Guyton, GA, Olivia Croft (Stefen), Soperton, GA, Cherissa Morris, Soperton, GA, nieces and nephews, Reyna East, Lincoln East, Evalee Morris and Victoria Croft.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Blackville Church of God with Reverend Jim Yeomans and Reverend Kendall Ward officiating.
