Mr. Charles E. Smith, age 82 of Scott passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, March 2, 2021 at Scott Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was a native and lifelong resident of the Laurens County area; son of the late Ralph Waldo and Helen Houser Smith Rowland.  Mr. Smith was a member of Mt. Olive Church of The Nazarene.

Funeral services will be conducted, from the graveside, at 12:00 noon, on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Carter’s Chapel Cemetery, near the Scott Community, with Reverend L. T. Logue officiating.

Mr. Smith will be laid to rest beside his mother.
