Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Brinson, age 66, of the Zaidee Community, of Treutlen County passed away peacefully on Monday evening, January 25, 2021 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Born in Bath, SC, she was one of four children in the family. As a young girl, the family moved to Dublin and Swainsboro where she grew up and graduated from David Emanuel Academy in Stillmore. Mrs. Brinson worked as a Machine Operator at Argo Mills in Swainsboro for many years before joining Woolrich in Soperton. Mrs. Brinson also worked as a Teller at the Bank of Soperton until retiring in the mid 2000s.
She had enjoyed and played Women’s softball with the Argo Mills team, cooking, time with her grandchildren, entertaining, decorating, and shopping.
Pat was Southern Baptist by faith.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Kandace Brinson, and her father, G.R. Davis, stepfather, Hubert Rowland, and stepbrother, Danny Rowland.
Pat leaves behind, her husband of 45 years, Clayton Brinson, their son, Davis Brinson (Christy), all of the Zaidee Community, her mother, Dorothy Rowland, Swainsboro, GA, a brother, Glenn Davis (Billie), Swainsboro, GA, two sisters, Debra Peebles (David), Kite, GA, Dottie Durden (Allen), Swainsboro, GA, three grandchildren, C.J, Leo, and Maya Brinson, and nieces and nephews, Allison Murphy, Allaina Durden, Bo Hall, J.J. Hall, and Rocky Davis.
Private services will be held from the graveside in Boiling Springs Cemetery with Reverend Donnie Crosby officiating.
