"The guys were a little disappointed with the defeat since they have beaten Jeff Davis and Bleckley twice this year, but they are up for the challenge and ready to face off with them again on October 22 in Guyton," Said Head Coach Mandy Godbee. "We are in this for the long haul and are not focused on just winning a few invitationals. Our goal is to win the region and make the podium at state. In order to do this, sometimes, you have to take a small hit, refocus and set your sights on the big picture. Both boys and girls teams are in an excellent position as we edge closer to the postseason," Godbee added. (Courtesy of Vidalia High School)
