Ms. Patricia Phillips Wilcher of Soperton died Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 3 PM in the Anchor of Hope Worship Center in Soperton. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Reverend Gilbert Posey and Reverend Milton Thomas will officiate.
Ms. Wilcher, 75, was the daughter of the late Alphus David Phillips & Iney Phillips. She was born in Savannah and was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County. She was a “Class of 1963” Graduate of Treutlen High School and a retired Vice President/Manager of Colony Bank of Soperton. She was a member of Anchor of Hope Worship Center where she also served as secretary. Her husband, Glenn Wilcher; brother & sister-in-law, Ray & Barbara Phillips; sister, Josephine Phillips and brother-in-law, Carl Waller, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her two sons, Shaan (Leigh) Wilcher of Soperton and Lance (Sandra) Wilcher of Valdosta; three sisters, Janis (Bobby) Cone of Soperton, Sue Waller of Grayson and Becky (Gerald) Hooks of Soperton; four grandchildren, Garrett Wilcher, Bryson Wilcher, Reid Wilcher and Abigail Wilcher; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Phil & Pogo Wilcher; several nieces & nephews and her two dogs, Daisy & Laika.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Wilcher, Bryson Wilcher, Reid Wilcher, Derek Cone, Dave Cone and Brian Spivey.
Visitation will begin at 2 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
Facial masks and social distancing will be required at the request of the family.
Higgs Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.
