May14--
On May 11, 2020, Mr. Clint Eugene Hart stepped from this life into Peace. Clint grew up in the Uvalda and Cedar Crossing communities and no matter where life took him, he always called that home. He was a painter by trade and indeed he lived a colorful life. A graduate of Robert Toombs Christian Academy (’93), Clint went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia Southern University (’99). Although, he was an Eagle by education, he spent his Saturdays in the fall rooting on them Dawgs. Clint’s daddy raised him floating along the Altamaha and as an adult; he fell in love with paddling the rocky rivers of North Georgia. His family will always remember him for his quick wit, love of a good joke, and the deep love he has for his daughters. He was a member of Cedar Crossing Baptist Church and was the pastor’s biggest fan. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis D. Hart; Clint and Mary James; and his favorite cousin, Avery W. Toole.
Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, Sharon Doreen Hart; two daughters, Alli & Hope Hart; parents, Gene and Celeta Hart of Cedar Crossing; a heart-broken brother, Dennis Hart of Metter; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar Crossing Cemetery with Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
