Mrs. Bonnie Williamson Coleman, age 82, of Vidalia, died Monday, May 4, 2020, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was born and raised in Treutlen County and lived in Toombs County most of her life. She retired after thirty-four years from Oxford Industries and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Vidalia. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and canning. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Coleman, Jr.; parents, Emmitt Williamson and Mary Lee Brantley Williamson; and eight siblings, Estol Williamson, Neva Fountain, Lila Mae Meeks, Leecy Williamson, Mildred Hall, Dorothy Wickstrom, Bobby Joe Williamson and Emilee Williamson Beall.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by one son, Steve Coleman; one grandson, Brandon and wife Melissa; two great-grandchildren, Courtney Coleman and Connor Coleman; one brother, Billy Williamson and wife Edith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, May 7th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Shady Missionary Church Cemetery with Pastor Gary Roberson officiating.
