Mr. Stephen E. “Steve” Repak, 72, of Lyons, died Monday May 4, 2020, in Meadows Health in Vidalia after a sudden illness.  He was a native of New York, living in Ohio and New Jersey before moving to Lyons in 1978.  He retired from Meadows Regional Medical Center as a heating and air engineer after sixteen years of service.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God  in Vidalia, where he taught the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.  He and his wife had a nursing home ministry in Lyons, Waycross, Vidalia and Alma which they started in 1986.  He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen Frank Repak and Anna Kuzeroski Repak.

Mr. Repak is survived by his wife and best friend of fifty-four years, Patricia Repak of Lyons; two children, Stephen E. “Steve” Repak, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Christine Reddick and husband  Cliff of Richmond Hill; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Repak and wife Jessica, Trey Repak, Zack Repak, Lilly Repak, Israel Lynn, Christopher Lynn, Carson Reddick and Campbell Reddick; three great-grandchildren, Korbin, Julian and Milla.   

A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 6th, at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Pastor Joe Gabbard and Reverend David Knight officiating.  

The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 2:00 until just prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Voice of the Martyrs, 1815 SE Bison Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006 or to First Assembly of God, P.O. Box 276, Vidalia, GA 30475.
