This past June, the Dr. Mark & Tonya Spivey Public Library was packed with smiles, laughter, and a staggering 2,500  people attending summer programs at the library and the performances at STC. Keeping that wonderful momentum going just got a lot easier.

The Vidalia Lions Club recently stepped up with a generous $5,000 donation to fund children’s events. Because all public programs at the public library are funded 100% by donations, this gift directly fuels the magic of Summer Reading and educational activities that keep local kids thriving.

"We are so incredibly grateful for the Lions Club and their heart for our community's children," says the library team. Seeing 2,500 people come together to learn and play this June was beautiful, but we simply cannot host these free events without local partnerships. We truly could not do it without you."
