Evans County Sheriff Mac Edwards reports that early Thursday morning his office received a call regarding an armed robbery at a convenience store in Hagan. From video surveillance, it was determined that the subject was a black male dressed in black with a red cloth wrapped around his head and face.
A drone was deployed along with K-9 Daxx but due to heavy fog and foot traffic, the search didn’t yield the suspect. A citizen later said a person matching the description was at another location in Hagan and was heard on the telephone telling someone to pick him up. Law enforcement arrived at the store and the suspect fled toward Todd Pagett Housing Center. He was found under a mobile home and taken into custody.
He was identified as 53-year-old Terry Hall of Claxton and is facing charges of armed robbery, possession of drug-related objects, and other possible charges as the investigation continues.
