Washington County First Responders, Emergency Management Agency, and  Rescue and Fire Services responded to a boating accident Sunday in the 4900 block of Hamburg State Par Road where there was a potential drowning according to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran.

Around 4:30, Department of Natural Resources Officials recovered the body of a missing boater. The three young men were stranded in the water where one lost his life. The other two were transported to Washington County Regional Hospital for treatment.

The identity of the victims is not being released at this time.
