Game one was led by the Barons' offense, featuring J. Reid Phillips and Marquette Gibson. Phillips scored three runs along with three RBIs, and Gibson had two RBIs. Brandon Russell started on the mound and kept the game close, but it was Bryce Morley coming in relief in the sixth who was credited with the win. The Barons carried the momentum of their victory in game one into game two, stealing the series.

Game two kicked off with a bang as Jordan Rahn smashed a 3-run homer in the opening inning, setting a powerful tone for the Barons.
