April 27-- The 49th Annual Vidalia Onion Run sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia was held Saturday morning. The overall winner of the Half Marathon was Seth Weprin from Dallas, Texas, now living in Atlanta, Ga. with a new record time of 1:13:38.

The female winner of the Half Marathon was Carlee James from Statesboro, Ga. At 20:50.

The winner of the 5K with a new record time 17:10 was Adyn Easton from Rincon, Ga. The female winner of the 5K for the second consecutive year was J.R. Trippe Middle School student Ginny Meredith of Vidalia with a time of 20:50. The winner of the 1-Mile Fun Run was Joseph Nelson from Reidville. Ga. The female winner was Macey Todd of Vidalia.
